Q: Where is Yeovil Beer Festival 2024 being held?
A: Yeovil Beer Festival will be held at Yeovil Town Football Club, Huish Park Stadium, Lufton Way, Yeovil, BA22 8YF.
Q: What time does the festival open and close?
A: The afternoon session begins at 12pm and ends at 5pm. The evening session begins at 6pm and ends at 11pm. All day ticket holders are welcome on site from 12pm until 11pm, however the bars will be closed for a break between 5pm and 6pm.
Q: How can I purchase tickets?
A: Tickets for Yeovil Beer Festival 2024 can be purchased online here: www.tinyurl.com/YBF2024TICKETS or at the venue on the day of the event, subject to availability.
Q: What does the ticket include?
A: Your ticket grants you access to the festival grounds and includes a festival glass for tasting and a souvenir programme which contains information on all the different beverages we have on offer.
Q: Are under 18’s permitted at the festival?
A: Persons under the age of 18 years will not be permitted ticketed entry to the festival. We support challenge 25 so please bring photographic ID with you if you look under the age of 25. In the event that a person under the age of 18 attempts to enter the festival with a pre-paid ticket that individual will be denied entry to the festival and the cost of their ticket will not be refunded.
Q: Is there car parking on site?
A: We actively discourage drinking and driving but should you need to bring a vehicle car parking is available at Huish Park, priced at £3 per vehicle. Please follow the signs to the designated Beer Festival car park to the east of the stadium. There will be no parking available to ticket holders on the west side of the ground (where the 3G training pitch is located.)
Q: Will the festival bars accept cash or cards?
A: The beer and cider bar will only accept official Yeovil Beer Festival tokens, in exchange for Beer, Cider, Wine or Prosecco.
Q: Where can I purchase official Yeovil Beer Festival drinks tokens?
A: There will be token stations on site accepting cash and card, where you can purchase tokens to exchange for drinks.
Q: How much is an official Yeovil Beer Festival drink token and what can I get with it?
A: The cost of a token is £2.50 and 1 token = ½ pint of beer or cider, or 125ml of wine or prosecco.
Q: Can I bring my own drinks or food?
A: Outside food and drink are not permitted at the festival. However, exceptions may be made for medical or dietary requirements. Please contact us in advance if you have specific needs.
Q: Will soft drinks be available at the festival?
A: Yes, there will be a dedicated soft drinks bar, as well as a tea and coffee bar.
Q: Are there food options available at the festival?
A: Yes, we will have a selection of food vendors offering a range of delicious options to complement your drinks. We strive to cater to various dietary preferences and will have vegetarian and vegan options available among our food vendors.
Q: Can I use official Yeovil Beer Festival Tokens to pay for food and soft drinks?
A: No, all food and soft drinks or items at the tea bar can only be purchased using cash or card.
Q: Can I bring my pet to the festival?
A: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Yeovil Beer Festival 2024, with the exception of registered assistance animals.
Q: Is the venue accessible to people with disabilities?
A: Yes, we aim to make our festival accessible to all attendees. The venue is wheelchair-friendly, and we have accessible facilities on-site.
Q: Will there be water at the bars to rinse my glass out?
A: Yes, there will be water points at the bars.
Q: Are there any other entry restrictions?
A: Yeovil Beer Festival is a member of Yeovil Pubwatch and their rules of entry will apply.
Q: What happens if people behave badly during the event?
A: Yeovil Beer Festival is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. Any behaviour that is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others will not be tolerated. Depending on the severity of the situation, individuals found behaving badly may be escorted off the premises by security personnel or event staff. In extreme cases, the police service will be called. We encourage all attendees to drink responsibly, respect fellow festival-goers, and adhere to the festival’s code of conduct to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Q: What should I do if require medical assistance during the event?
A: The safety and well-being of our attendees are paramount at Yeovil Beer Festival. We have trained medical personnel and a first aid station (please see the festival map for its location) to provide prompt assistance in case of any medical emergencies. If you or someone you know requires medical attention, please don’t hesitate to approach any brew crew volunteers or security staff on site who will be able to direct you. A: If you observe any behaviour that seems concerning or suspicious, we encourage you to report it immediately to brew crew volunteers or security personnel. Our priority is to ensure the safety and security of all attendees. Please provide as much detail as possible about the situation, including descriptions of individuals involved and their location within the festival grounds. Your vigilance helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Q: Will you run out of beer/cider?
A: The aim of any festival (especially one that donates all its proceeds to good causes) is for the last pint to be poured to the last person who wants one, but it is impossible to judge this precisely. Individual beers and ciders will run out as the festival progresses and the earlier you come the more likely you are to find the ones you want to try are still available.
Q: Will spirits be available?
A: No, spirits will not be served at any of the bars on site during Yeovil Beer Festival 2024.
Q: Is the festival outdoors?
A: Most of the festival area is outdoors, but there will be some cover in the event of adverse weather. We discourage ticket holders from bringing in umbrellas as these can cause a hazard. We do encourage the wearing of a waterproof coat though!
Q: Can I bring camping/portable chairs?
A: The use of camping/portable chairs is discouraged and you may be asked to leave them at the door at busy times. There is ample seating provided.
Q: Is there a smoking area?
A: Yes, there will be a dedicated outdoor smoking area. Please refrain from smoking in other locations, even when outdoors.
Q: What COVID-19 safety measures are in place?
A: The safety of our attendees is our top priority. We will implement appropriate COVID-19 safety measures in accordance with government guidelines at the time of the event. This may include capacity limits, social distancing measures, and enhanced sanitation protocols.
