Q: What time does the festival open/close?’

A: 24th April 2020, 6pm – 11pm 25th April 2020, Noon – 5pm & 6pm – 11pm

Q: Are under 18’s permitted at the festival?

A: Persons under the age of 18 years will not be permitted ticketed entry to the festival. We support challenge 25 so please bring photographic ID with you if you look under the age of 25. In the event that a person under the age of 18 attempts to enter the festival with a pre-paid ticket that individual will be denied entry to the festival.

Q: Is there car parking on site?

We actively discourage drinking and driving but should you need to bring a vehicle there will be free car parking available on site. All vehicles and contents are left at the owner risk.

Q; Will the festival bars accept cash or cards?

A: No, the bar will only accept drink tokens; these can be bought using cash or debit/credit cards.

Q: Is there transport available to and from the festival?

A: We are not providing any transport to or from the festival but please check local bus timetables for services.

A: Yeovil Beer Festival 2020 will be held at Westlands Entertainment Venue, Westbourne Close, Yeovil, Somerset, BA20 2DD Box Office: 01935 422884 Duty Manager: 01935 462343.

Q: ‘Is there food available on site?

A: Yes, excellent hot food.

Q: Will there be a cashpoint on site?

A: Unfortunately we are unable to offer this service so please ensure you bring cash with you to purchase beer tokens and food.

Q: Will a programme be available?’

A: Yes, your souvenir programme is included in the price of your ticket and will be given to you with your festival glass upon entering the festival.

Q: Can I keep my festival glass?

A: Yes, you can keep your festival glass. When leaving the festival please ask a member of event staff for a bag to transport it in. If you are attending multiple sessions you will need to bring your glass with you when you return.

 Q: Where can I purchase drink tokens?

A: There will be token stations on site where you can purchase tokens to exchange for drinks. Tokens cost £1.60 each (8 for a strip of 5). The exchange rate will be: 1 Token = 1/2 pint of beer or cider 2 Tokens = 1 pint of beer or cider 2 Tokens = 175ml glass of wine.

Q: Will there be disabled access and facilities?

A: Yes. A disabled parking area will be provided and accesible toilet facilities will be available.

Q: Is there a smoking area?

A: Yes there is a dedicated outdoor smoking area. No smoking is permitted inside the building.

Q: Will soft drinks be available?

A: Yes, there will be various soft drinks available.

Q: Will there be water at the bars to rinse my glass out?

A: There will be various water points at the bars and throughout the festival.

Q: Are there any other entry restrictions?

A: The Yeovil Beer Festival is a member of Yeovil Pubwatch and their rules of entry will apply.

Q: Are any drink tokens included in the ticket price?

A: No, tickets cover entry, your festival glass and your programme.

Q: Will you run out of beer/cider?

A: The aim of any Festival is for the last pint to be poured to the last person who wants one but it is impossible to judge this precisely. Individual beers and ciders will run out as the festival progresses and the earlier you come the more likely you are to find the ones you want to try are still on.

Q: Will spirits be available?

A: No, spirits will not be served; there will be plenty of beers, ciders and wines available.

Q: Can I bring camping/portable chairs?

A: The use of camping/portable chairs is discouraged and you may be asked to leave them at the door at busy times. There is ample seating provided
